We are blessed with many options to develop our solutions. But, in the end, the user has to be able to use the solution in context of other solutions - whether out of the box from Oracle or something another developer built.  How do we - developers, admins, architects, innovators - exploit the capability of our selected platform and language without creating a technical minefield of disassociated, inconsistent, solutions for that user?

In this session I will highlight several of the common user experience pitfalls that arise when we take advantage of different languages and platforms to develop various organizational solutions.  I will talk about why these arise and how we can avoid them without sacrificing the value a hybrid environment brings in terms of cost effectiveness and solution potential.
